Congratulations to our students! You are now part of an exceptionally promising and diverse group of scholars and professionals in training. We look forward to the contribution you will make to the vitality of our graduate and postgraduate programs.
To help prepare our students for a successful graduate experience, on Thursday, 2nd July 2009, all new full-time and part-time CQUniversity students were invited to the Term 2 Orientation Program in CQUniversity International Study Center, Singapore. The goal of the program is to give our students a glimpse of what school life will be like, to articulate academic expectations, appropriate behaviour and also to create a connection among new students to the university and among the class through team building.
The comprehensive orientation program was kicked off with a sumptuous dinner and wine accompanied by a get-to-know your classmates ice-breaker session. The event continued with briefings by the CEO and other key school staff to discuss on academic plans, useful technology references and the important school policies. The orientation was concluded with meet-your-lecturers coffee session where students interacted with their lecturers and everyone shared their professional experiences.
At the end of the orientation program, our students have a better understanding of their new school life and all are excited to start school next week!
